A Warhammer 40,000 Omnibus
Lord Commissar Sebastian Yarrick is one of the foremost heroes of the Imperium, with a legend forged in the brutal crucible of battle on Armageddon. But his career didn't start there. This anthology will give you a full account of his rise to fame. With two full novels and seven short stories, there's a lot to cover.
READ IT BECAUSE
Few characters in the Imperium are as inspirational as Commissar Yarrick. Famed for his actions on Armageddon and his connection to Ghazghkull Thraka, you can now trace his evolution through stories that give an account of his many deeds.
THE STORY
In Imperial Creed, we meet a young Commissar Yarrick on his first real assignment. He quickly learns that in war, things are not always as they seem, and he must adapt to a rapidly evolving situation as loyalties are tested.
The Pyres of Armageddon takes us to the world of Armageddon, where the largest ork horde seen for centuries has hit the hive world. As battle rages across the planet, Yarrick and his allies will not let Armageddon fall.
In Chains of Golgotha, Commissar Yarrick tracks down Ghazghkull Thraka to the desolate world of Golgotha, leading an armoured company to destroy the beast.
A Plague of Saints takes us to the barren world of Molossus. With the inquisition at his back and a ragged force of rebels before him, Yarrick must discover the cause of an uprising and bring it to an end.
Thrown into battle alongside the charismatic but reckless Captain Marsec, Commissar Yarrick faces a tough decision in The Wreckage. Will he unleash the Emperor's judgement and risk damaging morale, or trust in Marsec's ability to lead?
Evil Eye tells the tale of a tortured prisoner protected by a fellow captive on an ork warship. But what manner of man dares to stand up to a mighty ork? Only one man – Commissar Sebastian Yarrick.
In The Gallows Saint, Commissar Yarrick deploys to Abydos to watch a great triumph in honour of the forces who liberated the world from the grip of the alien t'au. But when the planet's governor is assassinated, Yarrick is drawn into a political game with deadly consequences.
Sacrificial tells of a young Yarrick and the Armageddon Steel Legion facing corrupted cultists on the planet Mistral.
The collection is rounded out with Sarcophagus, as Yarrick is trapped in an overturned tank after being caught in a bombing run on Armageddon. He fights to escape and return to his forces, but as he emerges, he finds himself surrounded by foes.
